we got some gameplay a prehistoric playground the next track for the next Grand Prix let's talk about it what's up guys Canadian guy here and I am back with a tiny snippet of gameplay from the new upcoming track in the back in time Grand Prix the track is called prehistoric playground and will star the one and only baby team this clip is old I know and it came with a press kit when I got the review code but I totally forgot I had it and I wanted to talk about it and I want to show it to all those who have not seen it yet so let's check it out so before we dig into the clip I had a relatively recent interview with Thomas Wilson who shed a bit more detail in what this track will be themed around you know to give you something interesting about pretty stark playground it's not just going back in time it's going back in time if what if a crash had stolen or found entropies staff what happens so we're going it's it's a fake prehistoric environment so you know you'll be racing through like a bunch of fake crash restoring fake fresh community with you know faith on fake dinosaurs with big teeth you know we're just trying to have a little bit of fun and humor when we're designing these environments essentially this track is a giant what-if to fake crashes fantasy so I'll be 100% honest though and that I think this might become my favorite track in the whole game in terms of color and visual design the lush green outdoors followed by the dinosaur bone cavern with the bone pit looks kinda amazing now a detail that I noticed that refers back to what Thomas said is that you can actually see fake crash cave drawings throughout the entire stage on top of that we have continuously seen references to chickens in the whole game on this cave wall here we actually see a painted Tyrannosaurus Rex well chicken I mean at least that's what it looks like to me the chicken legs kind of give it away now we like they won't have to wait long til we get to see this track and it's Grand Prix as I believe it will begin in August it's not confirmed yet only assume that since the current Grand Prix is lasting a month so the assumption is that the next Grand Prix will also last a month and will begin the following month on top of that from what we know so far and with a recent data line of the game baby teeth will be joined by baby crash baby Coco baby cortex and baby entropy there likely will be a bunch of new skins as well that will probably refer to going back in time that will be available in the pit stop and through the Grand Prix and the nitro point system so are you excited for this Trek I know I am comment below and let me know by the way a huge shout-out to my patreon and sponsors on the channel I appreciate your support and letting me be able to do this full-time as I got a family to feed if you want to support the channel the patreon is in the description below and be sure to subscribe for more nostalgic content and while you're at it why not check out another video I recently made anyway guys thanks so much for watching and I'll see you guys next time

  1. Can’t wait to see the new levels which inspired by Orient Express/Midnight Express levels and Toad Village/Gee Wiz/Doubleheads levels from Crash Bandicoot 3

I love the creative direction that Beenox has gone with this remake, especially with giving depth to characters like Fake Crash, the Trophy girls and Tawna who in the past were just background characters. This makes me excited for a new Crash game in the style of the N. Sane games to see where Vicarious Visions can take the series while still keeping true to the originals. Beenox has really been delivering!

  4. I wish in an update, they'd add a filter in offline arcade where you can choose whether the AI is CTR racers, Nitro racers or mixed and then an option on whether their gear is standard or how it normally is, randomly customized

  5. Doesn't really seem to match the fake crash description in the interview tbh, unless they add more background details yet to be finished in this footage.

  6. As a person who has a job. The current nitro payout is rough for me. I hope they reduce the max nitro for gold level and give us time between grand prix's. Doing the math its hard to play this almost every day to get the last reward

  7. Pretty cool track from the looks of things; more interesting in layout than the last one. Kinda dreading the next Grand Prix starting immediately after this one ends though. I'm only half way through Silver Rank on this one.

  8. I personally can't come up with any pre historic skins for existing characters but I have had an idea for a sands of time theme N.Tropy skin where he'd have a sundial on his chest and have hourglasses pumping sand into his body and what about a Steampunk Geary, and Megaladon Nash

  9. I’m my opinion they should do Grand Prix events much less often than two months back to back. There will be a high burn out rate for most players and there needs to be a balance between competitive online multiplayer, and special Grand Prix multiplayer, not just a grind fest every month. I’d honestly be happy if a Grand Prix event was done quarterly which gives everyone time to refresh as well as the studio time to create and polish off aspects, issues and feedback in between. Here’s hoping the next Grand Prix is NOT August.
