Each year during the Hotter’N Hell 100,
thousands of cyclists flood into the city of Wichita Falls. The city
is proud to boast many unique options for local cyclists year-round. In addition to
a growing number of bicycle lanes, Wichita Falls has several trail options for safe
cycling. The Circle Trail is a smooth, paved haven for road bikes. You can ride for
miles on the continuous section of the trail from Lucy Park to Lake Wichita Park, through parts of the city you’d never see from your car. The Wee-Chi-Tah Trail is an award-winning urban mountain biking and
running trail. the 13 mile off-road trail starts at Berend’s Landing and travels
along the Wichita River. Finally, The Wichita Valley Rail Trail is seven miles
of off-road biking fun. It travels from the southwestern end of Wichita Falls to
the eastern edge of Holliday. Are you ready to hit the trail? Get off the
