CANNONDALE SUPERSIX EVO 2020 BIKE REVIEW | CYCLE SURGERY

Hi, I’m Dave from Cannondale,
I’m here with Cycle Surgery
in the Holborn store in central
London, to introduce you to the
all-new Supersix Evo. We’ve
followed the proven recipe of
the previous Evos to come out
with the latest iteration, it’s
won numerous world tours,
and it is Tour Magazine’s best
bike in the world, ever. Many of
the models feature reflective
standouts on the bikes to help
with safety at night, which is
rare on an elite race bike.
The new Supersix Evo is a
redesign from the ground up,
pretty much every tube is
new truncated aero profile,
which is as stiff and light as a
normal round tube, but has
the aerodynamic benefits.
The cables are also now
completely integrated, we’ve
dropped the seat stays to add
compliance, many many benefits
appear on this bike over the old
one. The new Evo comes with 25C
tyres out of the box, but can
take up to a 30C tyre which
adds a huge amount of bump
absorption. One of the key
benefits of the truncated aero
profile tube set is that you now
save 30 watts at 30 miles an
hour, over the old Evo. We’ve
shortened the reach, increased
the stack, that puts you in a
more comfortable position for
long distance riding. If you
still want to slam the stem like
a pro, you still can.
